A woman on white background looks like easy background removal work. In this case, it is not. She’s wearing a white blouse. White objects against a white background blends the object into the background. Her hair, too is lighted from the back by bouncing lights, causing it to highlight into white at the edges. Generally, the subject has soft edges and has little edge contrast to define shapes.
A lot of manual brush work went into the right edge of the hair. The edge of the blouse had to be manually redefined with a pen tool. Exposure correction was applied to restore the details on the blouse, making her undergarment look more visible. This may not be desired and can be adjusted to appear less visible.
